holy shit, Ralph de la Torre made an entire, fantastically unflattering website about why he's innocent and should definitely not go to prison for looting hospitals.

greatest hits include:

MYTH: Ralph only wanted to make money from Steward.
FACT: Ralph cared so much he used his own money to buy supplies for Steward facilities! That's why there's a $1.1 million "reimbursement" check made out to him, you see

MYTH: Ralph was paid $250 million by Steward while the company struggled.
FACT: He was not paid $250 million in cash, okay

MYTH: Ralph used Steward's corporate jets for personal vacations.
FACT: His security team told him to do it. For safety reasons.

MYTH: Steward paid for Ralph's yacht and fishing boat.
FACT: Gosh, guys, they're not that lavish, the smaller one of these boats is only 90 feet long! [They literally say this. Unprompted.] Anyway, Steward didn't pay for them directly, so, like, can't a guy spend his own money how he pleases

MYTH: Ralph is to blame for the hospital closures in Massachusetts.
FACT: Um, actually, have you considered that Massachusetts just sucks at having hospitals? [this continues for FIVE PARAGRAPHS]

anyway, uh, wow. as your lawyer I advise you to definitely keep posting this shit

always an incredible look when a CEO tries to invoke the Fifth Amendment and then publishes that invocation to a website he set up for the specific purpose of arguing that he didn't do any crimes

its late and i dont even know where to start with this, but someone please tell me this as hilarious as it sounds: link to download pdf of the letter

Fun little factoid, we all use the word "surgey" instead of surgery in our internal messeges and documentation all because somebody made a typo on the spreadsheet like ten months ago. Gender affirming surgey

Sloane is an unbelievably talented performer and also this concept for a performance of the Mikado is fucking lit.

For its 49th production, Valley Light Opera has chosen a version of The Mikado set in the Highlands of 18th-century Scotland.

The McAdo in a Celtic-inspired green font
